Top tips around drinking wine?
1) I don't think champagne flutes are a good vessel, In which to drink champagne. Drink champagne from a wine glass. It will give you infinitely more pleasure.
2) With red wine, it seldom doesn't benefit from a decant. If it's over, twenty quid, just whack it in a decanter for an hour.
3) White wine, don't serve it too cold.
4) Give red wine breathing time before drinking.
